It may be that the book does not appear in Worldcat because we, technically, do not own it. Currently, it is available as part of Demand-Driven Acquisitions (DDA). We do not buy DDA books until after the ebook is used. So, while it is accessible through our catalog, it is not yet part of our holdings; therefore, it is not in Worldcat.
It might be worth noting that our catalog is not synched with WorldCat daily. There can be some lag time between when we buy a book and it appears in WorldCat as owned by CUL.
Also, Bridwell, DeGolyer, and Underwood use a different ID than Fondren and Hamon. Therefore, it's possible a book is owned by SMU, but the "In your library SOUTHERN METHODIST UNIV, CENT" indicator does not display.
You should always double check our catalog for titles identified through Worldcat to see if we do have access to them, regardless of how it appears in their database.
