The DeGolyer Library is the westernmost end of the Fondren Library. The entrance faces the main quad and has a large set of stairs close to the street (Robert S. Hyer Lane, formerly Hilltop Lane). It has "Fondren Library" engraved in stone above the entrance (a revolving door), and DeGolyer Special Collections on the front window.
