For Fondren Library, Red Levels 1 and 2 and Blue Level 2 are designated quiet areas. For the most part, Hamon Library tends to be quieter than Fondren Library. The second and third floors are the designated quiet areas in Hamon.
You also have the option to reserve a study room on our website. Go to our Places to Study page, which allows you to filter by characteristics such as quiet area or group study. Once you choose which study room you would like, you can reserve a study room through the website. You will have to put in your SMU ID number and password. Then you may choose one of our study rooms to clock out on the schedule.
